2 weeks prior to your appointment 

• No planned vaccinations for 2 weeks prior to your Rejuran treatment 
• Avoid treatment within 2 weeks of illness (cold/flu)

2 - 5 days prior to your appointment 

•  We recommend avoiding blood thinners (ibuprofen, fish oil tablets), alcohol and caffeine. However please consult your treating doctor before stopping any medications.
• If you're prone to bruising and swelling, you can begin taking arnica tablets (available at most health food stores)

• AVOID alcohol intake and smoking 

•   Eat a good meal and stay hydrated before your appointment. 
• AVOID caffeine
• Arrive with a clean face, if possible

•  Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 24 hours.
• Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive sun exposure for 24 hours.
• Apply a cold compress to the treated area if you experience any swelling, bruising or tenderness.
• Follow any additional aftercare instructions provided by your Nurse

Rejuran-I is a specialized treatment that uses polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA to rejuvenate and repair the delicate skin around the eyes. It effectively targets common concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. 

Rejuran promotes skin regeneration and repair by stimulating collagen production and boosting hydration in the under-eye area. The polynucleotides help improve texture, elasticity, and overall appearance, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed look.

Good candidates are those looking to address fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, crepiness, and puffiness around the eyes. During your consultation, our registered nurses will assess your skin and medical history to determine if Rejuran-I is the right treatment for you.

Discomfort during Rejuran-I treatment is minimal. A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to ensure you're comfortable throughout the procedure. Some mild pinching or a slight stinging sensation may be felt during the micro-injections, but most clients find the procedure well-tolerated. 

The procedure involves a series of micro-injections around the eye area and typically takes about 15 minutes. Discomfort is minimal, and our team will ensure you feel comfortable throughout the process.

For optimal results, we recommend 2-3 sessions of Rejuran-I, spaced about 2-4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments can be done every 6 months, depending on your skin’s response and individual goals. Our Registered Nurses will assess your progress during your follow-up consultations and tailor the treatment plan to your needs. 

Rejuran-I typically has minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or micro bruising dots around the treatment area, which usually resolves within a few hours to a couple of days. It's important to follow aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results and reduce any risks of prolonged swelling or bruising. 

Rejuran, like all medical procedures, carries potential risks and side effects. These include:

• Infection: While rare, there is a minimal risk at injection sites. Following aftercare instructions can help minimize this risk.
• Allergic reactions: Though uncommon, allergic reactions can occur. It's important to inform our nurses of any known allergies prior to treatment.
• Tissue necrosis: This is a risk if the product is injected into a blood vessel, though there is limited evidence of this occurring with Rejuran-I.
